2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON FAT BOY
This 2008 Harley-Davidson Fatboy found its way into the shop with a rider who was looking to refresh the stock appearance with some custom work for a new riding season. After conferencing with Chief Creative Officer Brent Geisbrecht and exploring a variety of options, they eventually settled on a final design and the team at MotoVida spent the next three months making the vision a reality.
The Fatboy now sports a range of custom parts from the asphalt up. The front and rear fenders were reshaped to accommodate the 19” front and 18” rear Performance Machine spoke wheels. New LED lights replaced the headlamp and were integrated into the underslung mirrors on custom ape-hanger bars. A handcrafted seat and grate floorboards make for a comfortable ride; but the icing on the cake is the BMX pedal that was re-appropriated for the rear brake pedal.
MotoVida had most of the engine cases and components powdercoated and the build was finished just in time for the client to leave on a road trip. This Fatboy successfully blends the unmistakable personality of Harley Davidson with the client’s own particular style.
